bq25046：1.1A, Single-Input 5-V Power Supply IC for Contactless Charging Applications
The bq25046 is a highly integrated linear power supply IC targeted at both wired and wireless power applications. With an accurate 5-V regulated output and integrated 3.3-V LDO, the bq25046 is an ideal solution for wireless power supply solutions up to 5 W.
The bq25046 integrates several functions which enable a wireless charging solution within a small area and low component count. These include a 3.3-V LDO which drives an MSP430BQ1010 wireless controller, high-accuracy current sense for calculating receiver-side power usage, 100mA/400mA current limits enable robust communication at all load current levels, and integrated pass FET acts as load disconnect switch and 5-V regulator to protect downstream circuitry.

The bqTESLA™ wireless power evaluation kit from Texas Instruments is a high-performance, easy-to-use development kit for the design of wireless power solutions. Consisting of a single-channel transmitter and direct-charge receiver and associated magnetics, the kit enables designers to speed the development of their end-applications. The bq500110EVM evaluation module (EVM) provides all basic functions of WPC 1.0-compliant wireless charger pad. The EVM is intended to be used with bq25046EVM or any other WPC 1.0-compliant receiver.
This transmitter EVM is a complete transmitter-side solution that powers a bqTESLA™ receiver. The bq500110EVM requires single 19-V at 0.5 A power supply to operate and combines on the single printed-circuit board the transmitter electronics, input power socket, LED indicators, and the transmitting coil. The open design allows easy access to key points of the electrical schematic. The board has installed connectors for optional JTAG and serial interfaces that can be helpful to advanced users.
